I joined thru Paypal on the 2nd of June, and the money has left the nest.
Should I be getting an email saying that my application has been processed?
Not poking, just making sure I ask the question, BEFORE I forget! Smile

Thanks Beav.
Not too concerned with getting stuff, just checking to make sure I crossed the i's and dotted the t's and did not do something incorrectly in signing up.

Have moved too many times to not understand the hassle (moved to Europe and back, twice).

Jamie, Welcome to the forum! rt th

What part of the Blue Ridge Mountains are ya from? I suspect there are still quite a few of my own kinfolk living in SW Virginia.... around Wise, Norton, Big Stone Gap, and Cumberland Gap.

My roots go back to Appalachian Hill Folk, but like so many others from that area, it is said the immediate family decided to leave sometime around the late 1920's early 1930's....

I was back that way in 2002, met a lot of folks, heard a lot of old family stories, and had a ball.....
MAN! what a beautiful place to live! I have never seen such beautiful mountains and rolling hills. We were on Skyline Drive and traveled The Trail of the Lonesome Pine...beautiful country, indeed!

Glad to have you with us!
The rules for the forum are really quite simple...be nice, have a good time, and enjoy yourself, with an emphasis on enjoying yourself.

Uncle Russ...

Thanks Uncle Russ,

I actually live near the Lower Valley, which is the northern part, near Front Royal and Winchester.

I hate leaving to go to work, BUT I love going home. The flinter gets pulled off the pegs in the cabin almost daily, plus I have a 30yd range (for now) right off the front porch.

I kinda like it here!

Been doing Skyline Drive and the Blueridge off and on for the last 40 years or so. Great motorcycle road and the views are fantastic. One of the great parts of the country.

I agree Hank. I have been a backroads scooter rider for years. Interstate when only necessary. Might take me forever to get there, but man what a ride.
